英語の前置詞一覧
前置詞は、名詞や代名詞とともに用いられ、文や語句に説明を加える語です。
場所・方向。時・期間・手段・方法などを表します。それでは、それぞれの前置詞や特殊のはたらきをする付帯状況を表すwith、前置詞を含む熟語などについてみていきましょう。
場所・方向を表す前置詞
- to「~へ」
- into「~の中へ」
- for「~の方へ」
- from「~から」
- at「~で」(比較的狭い場所)
- between「〜(2つ)の間に」
- in 「~で」(比較的広い場所)
- among「~(3つ以上)の間に」
- on 「~の上に」(接触)
- above「~の上方に」(離れて)⇔ below「~の下方に」
- over「~の真上に」⇔under「~の真下に」
- across「〜を横切って」
- along「~に沿って」
- around 「~の周りに」
- behind「~の後ろに」
- by「~のそばに」,
- in front of 「~の前に」
- near「~の近くに」
- out of「~から外へ」
- through「~を通り抜けて」
時を表す前置詞
- at「~に」(時刻)
- for「~の間」(期間)
- on「~に」(曜日, 日付)
- during「~の間に, ~の間じゅう」(特定の期間)

- till, until「~まで(ずっと)」(継続)
- since「~以来」
- after「~のあとに」
